 Thursday, June 15, 2017

The National Weather Service says at least three tornadoes touched down in Northeast Wisconsin Wednesday, but the agency has reports of as many of six twisters. On Thursday, NWS teams will survey damage in eastern Shawano County, northern Brown County, southern Oconto County, and the Appleton area. StormCenter 2 Meteorologist Steve Beylon says there were tornado reports in Shiocton, Navarino, Frazer Corners, Angelica into Pulaski, Keshena, and Markesan. The storm blasted through the central part of the state with winds of 50 to 70 miles per hour, causing widespread damage.
