Late June is usually the time when hailstorms start to sweep the region, but one rocked southwest North Dakota this past weekend. Some residents are facing extensive damage to their properties. Taylor farmer Stacia Schatz and her family didnt see the hailstorm coming. "I got the notification on my phone 10 minutes prior to the storm hitting. So we really didnt have time to do anything," said Stacia Schatz, co-owner of Schatz Farms. Schatz got out of bed, went down the stairs and rode out the rest of the storm. The next morning: "Chaos. Just stuff everywhere," said Schatz.
