Two more people lost their lives on South Dakota roads as the Sturgis motorcycle rally came to a close Sunday. The South Dakota Department of Highway Safety reported two rally-related accidents Saturday bringing the total of vehicle fatalities to eight for the 2017 rally nearly triple that of 2016 when three people lost their lives. Names of the victims have not been released. At 7:06 a.m. Saturday, an 18-year-old Piedmont man lost control of his motorcycle on US Highway 14A, just two miles west of Sturgis.
