Stolen Vehicles Used In ATM Smash-And-Grab Theft

Wednesday, November 1st, 2017 Auto Property

Five men used two stolen vans and managed to get an ATM out of the Parma 7-Eleven at State and Brookpark roads early Monday morning. "This was pretty dangerous," store manager Vikesh Kumar told News 5. It’s the second time they’ve been hit by smash and grabbers in less than 9 months, according to Kumar. While he’s not sure how much money was in the ATM they got away with, he said it could not have been much. "They probably get some scrap money out of that machine." Moving forward, Kumar said it’s just not worth it to reinstall an ATM. "I would rather worry about keeping my employees safe than some customers not coming back," he explained.
