Small Plane Crashes In Southern Kentucky, 4 Dead

A small, single-engine plane has crashed in Barren County, Kentucky. A Piper PA32 destined for the Lake Cumberland Regional Airport in Somerset crashed just before 2:30 p.m. near Glasgow, according to the Federal Aviation Administration. "There are four confirmed fatalities," according to Kentucky State Police Trooper Jeremy Hodges. He says the plane hit some tree tops and landed in a wooded area. The investigation has been halted for the evening due to rain and lack of light, according to the trooper.
