An Amtrak train and a semi truck collided in San Marcos, Monday evening. An official on scene told KXAN’s Lauren Lanmon it did not appear there were any injuries. In video sent to KXAN, firefighters were seen at the Wonder World Drive train crossing just west of Interstate 35. Around 9:25 p.m., the train continued on its way and crews were picking up products spilled from the truck. None of the 150 passengers or crew on board the train were injured. The white semi truck did not have a logo displayed and was possibly heading toward Wimberley. Jeff DeGraff, a spokesperson for Union Pacific Railroad, which owns the tracks, says the semi truck did not clear the tracks in time.
