Diego Arsenio Caceres is now facing a vehicular assault charge after being accused of driving drunk and injuring a Florida family and himself in a wrong-way crash on the Bronx River Parkway last week. The Manhattan resident was arraigned by his bedside at Westchester Medical Center on Tuesday and is now being held by the county Department of Correction on $100,000 bail. He was still in the hospital as of Wednesday afternoon. Caceres faces felony charges of aggravated vehicular assault and first-degree reckless endangerment, as well as misdemeanor charges of driving while intoxicated and reckless driving. He is scheduled to appear in Yonkers City Court on Feb. 21.
