Authorities are urging people to flee areas devastated by a deadly California mudslide because of a coming storm. The Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s Office says a recommended evacuation warning goes into effect at 8 a.m. Wednesday for Goleta, Santa Barbara, Montecito, Summerland and Carpinteria.
