Up To 45 Vehicles In Pileup On I-94 In Michigan

I-94 has reopened near Jackson after icy roads resulted in multiple crashes and flipped semis, according to the Jackson County Sheriff’s office. Jackson County Undersheriff Christpher Kuhl told the Associated Press that 35 to 45 vehicles are estimated to have been involved. As units from the sheriff’s office, Michigan State Police and Blackman-Leoni Public Safety responded, people were warned to find alternate routes and avoid the area. Westbound I-94 was closed between exits 150 and 147 until about 1 p.m, according to the sheriff’s office.
