I-94 has reopened near Jackson after icy roads resulted in multiple crashes and flipped semis, according to the Jackson County Sheriffs office. Jackson County Undersheriff Christpher Kuhl told the Associated Press that 35 to 45 vehicles are estimated to have been involved. As units from the sheriffs office, Michigan State Police and Blackman-Leoni Public Safety responded, people were warned to find alternate routes and avoid the area. Westbound I-94 was closed between exits 150 and 147 until about 1 p.m, according to the sheriffs office.
