Officials with the National Weather Service in Cleveland said an EF-2 tornado, packing winds of 115 mph, tore through an area near Conneautville on Tuesday afternoon, striking an elder care facility, bringing down trees and severing power to some residents of Crawford County. Rolling Fields Elder Care Community said it was aware of no serious injuries on its property. Two minor injuries were reported and those people were transported to Meadville Medical Center, according to Deputy Chief Paul Chason of the Fellows Club Volunteer Fire Department in Conneautville.
