Eleven Tornadoes Estimated After Severe Weather Across The South

Severe storms and tornadoes tore through the South overnight leaving a trail of damage in several states and killing at least one. Angie Walker, 41, was killed and two others were injured in Christiana, Tennesee, about 35 miles southeast of Nashville, when an apparent tornado destroyed several homes, authorities said. To the southeast in Franklin County, Tennessee, two homes were damaged early Tuesday morning near Estill Springs, about 50 miles west-northwest of Chattanooga. A fire truck was blown off the road attempting to respond to the damage.
