Wednesday, September 18th, 2019 Property

Tropical Storm Jerry has become the 10th named storm of the Atlantic hurricane season.

Jerry is one of five systems the National Hurricane Center was tracking Wednesday morning.

The systems do not pose an immediate threat to New Orleans and southeast Louisiana.

However, Imelda is expected to bring "very heavy rainfall" to Houston, Galveston and parts of southwest Louisiana, the National Hurricane Center said.

This is the historical peak of the Atlantic hurricane season, which ends Nov. 30.
