3 hurt in ’electrical incident’ at Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum, N.Y.

Three people were injured Tuesday in an electrical incident at the Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum on Manhattan’s West Side, according to the FDNY. All three people were working on the grounds of the museum when the transformer incident happened around 11:30 a.m. According to the FDNY, the workers were on the grounds, not the ship itself when they were hurt. They were working on the museum’s electrical system when they were shocked. Officials confirmed that they were not employed by Con Edison.
