4 Dead In Plane Crash North Of Harrisburg, Oregon

Four people died in a small plane crash in a field off Peoria Road north of Harrisburg on Friday, the Linn County Sheriff’s Office said. The crash happened around 11:02 a.m., the sheriff’s office said. "We have discovered a small single engine plane that has crashed," Sheriff Bruce Riley said at the scene. "We can confirm that there are 4 deceased in the wreckage. We have secured the scene, we’ve notified FAA and NTSB, and they are en route to conduct their investigation." There is no word yet on where the plane was coming from nor where the plane was headed.
