4 Hospitalized By Apartment Fire In Old Louisville, Kentucky

Two people were killed and four others were hospitalized in an apartment fire in Old Louisville early Thursday. Louisville Fire & Rescue Chief Greg Frederick says six residents got out. Four were hospitalized and two died. Frederick says there could be more people inside. Fire crews were called to the scene of the fire in the 1100 block of S. Second Street near W. Oak and St. Catherine just after 7:30 a.m. Flames and heavy smoke could be seen shooting from the 3-story red brick building that appears to have been converted into apartments.
