48 New Vehicles Stripped Of Wheels, Tires At Texas Dealership

The Tyler Police Department is investigating the theft of more than $250,000 worth of wheels and tires from a local business. According to Tyler Police, on Sunday at around 3 p.m., officers were called to Peltier Chevrolet on a report of a theft of a large number of wheels and tires from their new vehicles. Surveillance video shows the thieves made there way into a secured fence area at the rear of the business around 1:00 a.m. The thieves then removed the wheels and tires from 48 vehicles on the property, leaving the vehicles on blocks. Police estimate the loss of value is more than $250,000.
