A school bus with five students on board collided with a tractor in Dixon, near Davis, on Wednesday morning, according to a spokesman for the California Highway Patrol. The special-education students, who were first reported to be children by the CHP, are actually teens and young adults -- all between the ages of 16 and 22, investigators said later. The crash happened about 7:25 a.m. at Hackman and Runge roads, near East Pedrick Road, the CHP said.
