88 Wheels, Tires Stolen Off Cars at Galveston Dealership

Thieves have stolen the wheels from 22 new cars and trucks at a Southeast Texas dealership and left the vehicles on unsteady wooden blocks. Texas City police are investigating the theft of 88 wheels, including tires, from DeMontrond Chevrolet.
The Galveston County Daily News reported Monday that some vehicles fell off the blocks and have frame damage. No damage estimate was immediately released.
