Arson Rate Reported At Historic Low

The country saw a 6% decrease in the number of intentionally set structure fires in 2003 marking the lowest number (37,500) recorded in the last 27 years. Civilian deaths and property damage numbers also fell to historic lows of 305 deaths and $692 million dollars of structural damage.
