Attack Survivor Relief Fund Growing
Wednesday, September 19th, 2001 Catastrophe Life & HealthA terrorist survivor relief fund set up by two branches of an independent agent association has already surpassed $50,000 in contributions and is growing. The America's Survivor Relief Fund has reached close to $53,000, announced Robert A. Rusbuldt, chief executive officer of the Independent Insurance Agents of America. The fund was created by the IIAA of Alexandria, Va., and the Syracuse, N.Y.-based Independent Insurance Agents Association of New York, to benefit victims and surviving family members of last week's terrorist attacks. "America's Survivor Relief Fund has received tremendous response from agents, IIAA state associations and concerned individuals within the industry," said Mr. Rusbuldt.
