Bean Bag Chairs Being Recalled Nationwide

Monday, August 25th, 2014 Subrogation

More than 2 million bean bag chairs are being recalled nationwide after the deaths of two children. One of those victims was a 13-year-old boy named Ian Welton. He died two years ago at his home in McKinney. His parents, like millions of others, never thought a bean bag chair could be deadly. When Welton died, his family didn’t think about filing a lawsuit; all they could do was grieve. They found out about the recall Friday from McKinney police and say it’s given them some comfort.
