Boy files claims in shooting at school

An attorney for one of three Newman Elementary School students injured in October when a Chino Police officer’s rifle discharged has filed claims against the cities of Chino and Chino Hills, and Chino Valley school district. The three boys were injured after one of them pulled the trigger on the motorcycle- mounted rifle during an Oct. 23 anti-drug presentation at the school.
