Brand New Car Parked On Beach Lost To High Tide

A Kent grandmother and a small child were pulled from their stranded car Thursday night just as waves were about to flip it on its top. Home video shows how close they came to being a real tragedy. A brand new Infinity rested upside down with ocean waves bashing it. It was a fun trip to the beach that turned bad.Peter Reece said the tide was 30 feet further out from where they parked, but within minutes the water was on top of them. "There were waves coming back to back and crashing against the car like really loud and really hard," Reece said.
