Tuesday, September 15th, 2015 — A Pompano Beach family woke up to the sight of debris after a car crashed into their home’s swimming pool, Tuesday morning. Police responded to the scene along the 200 block of Northwest 21st Street, just after 5 a.m. The homeowner’s said they heard a loud bang and ran outside to find a car that had smashed through their fence, struck a car port and then went into the pool. "I don’t know what’s going on, because I was asleep and I heard that, you know, the car was in the pool," said homeowner, Dan Emile, "and pretty much I don’t know."
