Tuesday, October 14th, 2014 — A Boise couple was injured after their vehicle drove over a dead bear along Interstate-84 in Oregon over the weekend. Oregon State Police says Brent Cartwright was driving near Pendleton when he made a lane change to avoid some debris in the road in the right lane. In doing so, however, OSP says Cartwrights vehicle struck a bear that had been previously hit by a vehicle. Cartwright lost control of the vehicle, which rolled into the center media. The familys dog died in the crash, however.
