City Bus Crashes into Wisconsin Duplex

Thursday, August 7th, 2014 Auto Liability Property Workers' Compensation

No one was home when a city bus crashed into one side of a duplex on the city’s east side Wednesday morning.
The occupants had moved out two days before, and new tenants were expected Thursday, said Joshua Scoggins, who lives in the other side of the duplex with his fiance, Renee Wilson, and her three children, ages 2, 4 and 7. Scoggins, Wilson and the children were not injured. The bus’s driver and two passengers were injured in the crash, which happened when a car failed to yield the right of way. That caused a city bus driver to lose control of her bus, said Sgt. Brian Vaughn of the police department.
