Construction worker injured when trapped under 2,000 lb. pipe

A construction worker was hurt while working at a site in Henderson. Officials say that 2,000 pound pipe fell on a construction worker’s legs at the intersection of Atkinson and Clay Street a little after 4:00 Monday afternoon. We are told the worker has been taken to the hospital to be treated for his injuries. The fire department says the man was going in and out of consciousness on the way to the hospital. His name has not been released.
