Contractors Busy Repairing Hail Damage In Hollister, Missouri

Three weeks after a hail storm in Hollister, people are still dealing with damage to their homes. Homeowners are having to be patient as local contractors work busy schedules, dealing with messes that this spring’s wild weather has left behind.

Chester Tolliver say his insurance company has finally given him the go-ahead to get repairs.

"With all the storms, north of here and everywhere, you know, they were so covered up, it was a good couple weeks or so before they could get somebody out here to even look at it," Tolliver said.

Zane Staugaard works with local contractor Plumblee Construction and says they’re working to help homeowners in the Branson and Hollister area.

"Normally you don’t see as much siding torn up as you did with this storm," Staugaard said. "It was a heck of a storm."
