CSX train, truck collide; Derailment, explosion follow

Baltimore County fire crews said they are making progress putting out a fire in two cars of a CSX train that collided with a large truck on Tuesday. Hazardous materials crews have cleared the scene and firefighters expect to work into the night to put the fires out. Baltimore County fire officials said the collision happened in the 7500 block of Lake Drive near 66th Street in Rosedale at 2:02 p.m. Tuesday. Baltimore County fire officials say a CSX train derailed in Rosedale at 2:02 p.m. Tuesday. Several witnesses reported hearing and seeing an explosion, too.
