A Continental Airlines regional airplane that crashed near Buffalo, N.Y., on Thursday is insured under a joint hull and liability policy for Delta Air Lines, market sources said. Colgan Air Inc. was operating Continental Connection Flight 3407 when it nose-dived into a house in suburban Buffalo, killing all 49 people aboard and one person on the ground.
