Dozens File Claims After Minor South Dakota Hail Storm

Heavy hail from Friday’s storm in spearfish has left insurance companies busy as they respond to dozens of damage claims.
The Mountain Shadows neighborhood got some of the worst hail damage in Spearfish. Insurance agencies have received multiple claims on cars, homes and also commercial buildings nearby. Now, insurance adjusters are busy inspecting properties and measuring the damage. Insurance Agent Robert Burnett says a good indicator of serious hail damage is the rain gutter.
