Drivers On Cell Phones Kill Thousands
Wednesday, February 2nd, 2005 Auto TechnologyA new study has shown that when younger drivers use cellphones, they become more like older drivers with slower reaction times and larger error rates when detecting changes. The study finds that the use of cellphones while driving signifigantly slows driver’s reaction time, and that such accidents cause as many 2,600 deaths per year along with 330,000 injuries.
