Dust Plume Rises From Mount St. Helens
Wednesday, November 23rd, 2005 Catastrophe PropertyRockfall at Mount St. Helens kicked up a dust plume Tuesday that rose above the rim of the volcanos crater, drawing attention in the region. Seismic activity has continued at low levels, however the white plume floating above the peak was raising concerns of the local communities. Scientists say a more explosive eruption, possibly dropping ash within a 10-mile radius of the crater, is possible at any time.
