Early morning fire destroys several buildings in Lindon

Patch’s Majestic Metals, which has stood on State Street in Lindon for more than three decades, is no more. Fire ripped through the building early Wednesday morning, destroying the store front, a warehouse and small home. Fire crews were called to the scene just before 5 a.m. and all the fire crews from Orem, as well as those from Pleasant Grove, American Fork and Provo responded to the massive blaze. As of 3 p.m. Wednesday, crews were still fighting the fire as the track hoes dug through the rubble of the main building.
