East Coast Storm Threatens Cities With Heavy Snow
Monday, February 28th, 2005 PropertyA massive storm is gathering momentum off the North Carolina coast sending rain and heavy snow across states from South Carolina to Pennsylvania. By the end of the day, forecasters predict the storm will be moving rapidly to cities such as Washington, D.C. and New York City. Not to be outdone, the Midwest is also experiencing a second weaker storm system as winter weather alerts have already been issued in Ohio, Michigan, Indiana, and Kentucky.
