Employee Accidentally Shot Inside St.Louis Home Depot

One employee at the Sunset Hills Home Depot is recovering after being shot in the bathroom. The shooting happened around 11:50 a.m. on Sunday. Police showed up at the scene shortly after the call for the shooting was placed. A customer’s gun discharged and hit an employee. Police have not released the details surrounding the accidental shooting, but they do stress that it was an accident. Home Depot officials released a statement saying “our policy is that we do allow customers to carry firearms into our stores as long as it is in accordance with local law. We do not allow associates (employees) to carry firearms.”
