Engineers With Fort Worth-Based Lockheed Martin Top Assess Hurricane Damage To F-22s
Thursday, October 18th, 2018 Catastrophe PropertyStructural engineers from Fort Worth-based Lockheed Martin will head to Tyndall Air Force Base in Panama City, Fla., to assess damage to F-22 Raptors left behind during Hurricane Michael, an Air Force spokeswoman said Tuesday.
Ann Stefanek confirmed that the hurricane damaged some of the expensive and powerful jets, but would not specify a number. She said the Air Force is "confident that none of the F-22s were destroyed."
