The company's initiatives involve streamlining its structure and redefining its approach to delivering insurance products to both agents and customers.

Farmers Insurance will be implementing organizational changes that encompass all lines of business. This will result in the departure of approximately 11 percent of its workforce, equivalent to around 2,400 employees.

Raul Vargas, the President and Chief Executive Officer of Farmers Group, Inc., emphasized the necessity of making bold decisions to adapt to the challenges facing the insurance industry.
