FedEx Truck, Bus Wreck on Interstate in Georgia

An accident involving a tractor trailer shut down all lanes of westbound Interstate 20 in Carroll County. The wreck was between a FedEx truck and a bus. It happened shortly after 6 a.m. just past Highway 61 in Villa Rica. Georgia Department of Public Safety spokesperson Tracey Watson said the bus was rear-ended by the tractor trailer in the rightmost lane. Both vehicles left the road, overturned and caught fire. A Life Flight helicopter was called to the scene to airlift the tractor trailer driver to Grady Memorial Hospital.
