FEMA head visits flooded locations
Friday, March 28th, 2008 Catastrophe PropertyThe head of FEMA toured flood-ravaged areas of southeast Missouri on Thursday with Lt. Gov. Peter Kinder as federal crews assessed damage in Christian and Webster counties. At a press conference at the Jefferson City airport, FEMA Administrator R. David Paulison said he will use preliminary assessment reports to submit a relief plan for the state to President George W. Bush by this weekend.
