Two people died and several others were injured in a five-alarm fire at an assisted-living complex Wednesday. The massive fire broke out just after 2 a.m. at The Gatewood Apartments. Dallas Fire-Rescue spokesman Jason Evans says two bodies were discovered in an upper-floor unit where the blaze apparently started. Evans says three other people were transported to a hospital for treatment of smoke inhalation and other breathing problems. Those injuries are not believed to be life-threatening. The bodies were found on the fourth floor, where officials believe the fire started, as firefighters put out the flames.
