
Three people were left displaced Tuesday afternoon after a fire destroyed a home in Jefferson County.
Firefighters were dispatched to the scene of the fire at 2241 Chestnut Hill Road at about 3:16 p.m. after Jefferson County 911 Central Dispatch received multiple calls reporting the blaze. "One of the lieutenants from Citizens Fire Company pulled up and advised there was heavy fire showing through the roof. Engine 2-1 was the first engine on the scene, and they commenced with hand line operations.
