A Walker County fire truck crashed into a pole in the middle of a grocery store parking lot. Now the truck, which is valued at over half a million dollars, must be fixed. Broken windows and a missing front fender for Walker Countys Station 6 ladder truck. David Ashburn, Walker Countys Director of Emergency Services, tells us that "personnel on Ladder 6 had gone to Sonic Drive-thru to pick up some breakfast. The driver pulled into Freds parking lot because its a much bigger parking lot to park the vehicle."
