Firefighters Hurt While Working Accident Scene

Several firefighters were hurt Monday in far north Fort Worth. They were working at an accident scene near Interstate 35W and Golden Triangle Boulevard around 5 a.m. The driver of a pickup truck didn’t notice the lane closures and slammed into a police squad car and fire truck. Three of the firefighters were taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. A fourth was treated at the scene. The driver of the car was also treated at the scene.
