Fla. Session Day 1: Expanding State’s Hurricane Cat Fund Tops the Agenda

Thursday, January 18th, 2007 — On Tuesday, the Florida Senate Banking and Insurance Committee began work on Senate Bill 4-A, termed "Hurricane Preparedness and Property Insurance." If it is approved, the bill would expand coverage for insurers under the Florida Hurricane Catastrophe Fund.
