Thursday, November 30th, 2006 — In an effort to provide relief to residents and businesses, Florida Governor-elect Charlie Crist, Senate President Ken Pruitt, and House Speaker Marco Rubio have called for a special legislative session beginning on January 16, 2007, to discuss the restructure of the states property insurance market. They want to develop a comprehensive reform plan with which will increase competition and lower premiums.
