Tuesday, April 7th, 2015 — Former Tampa Bay Buccaneers Kicker Lawrence Tynes is suing the organization claiming unsanitary conditions at the team’s facility led to him contracting Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus Aureas, or MRSA. Tynes claims the infection caused the end of his career, according to a news release issued by his attorney. He is now asking for $20 million in expected future earnings. Tynes told ESPN.com’s Elizabeth Merrill he spent eight or nine days without being diagnosed and his infection worsened. He eventually went to an outside doctor.
