Four Tornadoes Confirmed In Alabama

Four tornadoes have been confirmed from Sunday’s storms in Alabama. The storms came in three rounds beginning early Sunday morning, continuing through the early hours of Monday. The first round brought severe storms and tornadoes to the southeastern parts of the state. The National Weather Service in Birmingham has confirmed two tornado touchdowns in Russell County. The first tornado touched down at 8:43 a.m. Sunday and was on the ground two minutes.
