The Georgia Senate voted by a measure of 39 to 15 to pass an amended version of Senate Bill 3 which is a tort reform bill that makes changes to the state’s medical malpractice system. Advocates state that this will help the state deal with its medical malpractice issues and contains other provisions that will help the insurance industry.
