High Winds Tear Through Central Texas

Central Texas was buffeted with winds in excess of 60 mph on Monday and the damage continues to be assessed. Homeowners are urged to contact their insurance agent or company if they have sustained roof damage. Insurance agents from the hill country throughout the Austin area have received numerous calls from homeowners who have had shingles blown off, tree limbs crashing onto roofs, fences down and trampolines tossed around.
